This April has been the busiest April we have ever had and the best thing about it has been the variety of the events that we have attended. When we first began we used to set up bars which customers would hire and run themselves. However, this last month we have had cash bars at traditional weddings, cocktail bars at Indian wedding ceremonies, free bar packages at the NEC for our corporate clients, photo booths for weddings and parties and cash bar services for charity balls. It really has been a month to be remember and the wedding season hasn’t even begun yet.
Last weekend we had events in Redditch and Worcester. The event in Redditch was a small traditional wedding which was held at the Needle Museum. One hundred people attended the wedding reception and it was held in both the museums venue and a small marquee out the back on the patio. The event at Worcester Guildhall was a grand charity ball which was in aid of three different charities. One hundred and sixty people all paid £80 for a ticket to attend the black tie function and they were wined and dined with prosecco upon arrival and then a fabulous three course meal on the top floor of the historic building. A silent auction was hosted by two guest speakers with brilliant signed and framed photographs up for grabs from famous bands and artists such as One Direction. The ball was a great hit and it made a record breaking amount of money for the three charities involved. The biggest selling drinks of the night were a red Malbec wine, bottled EPA and of course…Mojitos!
