What a fabulous weekend we just had at our annual charity ball at Spetchley Park. The ball made a great fortune for the Help Harry Help Others charity and we all had a great time in the process. All the suppliers that we recommend attended the ball and took part in all the little competitions to help raise more money. There was a live band playing upon arrival, a photo booth setup in the corner by www.flash-pix-photobooths.co.uk, waitresses running from table to table supplying great food by Best of Taste catering and we provided the bar setup and staff in the adjacent marquee.
The drinks were flying out over the bar on Saturday where customers could choose from a selection of wines, ales, lager and spirits. The Watering Hole team members who weren’t working also attended the ball and took part in all of the drinking games. At one point all the managers from local marquee companies and our bar staff team were in the photo booth which ended up with some very funny pictures.
Our next ball is in April at the Worcester Guildhall where 160ppl will be attending in aid of Cancer Research, St Richards Hospice and Hugos HELP fund. This ball has some amazing prizes up for the grabs in the raffle and has a silent auction also in action shortly after the evening meal. The guests will be treated to a glass of prosecco as they enter on the red carpet and then we taken to the top room of the Guildhall for some fine dining. We will running two bars at the ball that night so we are set to be busy busy busy till the early hours.
